Inaugural "Gold" Class of 2000

• On Feb. 3, 2000, I was of notified (by phone) that all of my domain submissions were approved and that I was officially a “Gold Certified” coach.

• First person to complete the Gold Certification program

• In December 1999, I completed Dr. Eric Lasser’s Advanced Sport Psychology “Home Study Program.” This program alone took more than 140 hours and 10-1/2 weeks to complete and was my final component of the Gold Certification curriculum.

Overview of investment towards becoming a Gold Certified Coach

• Over 360 hours, spanning 19 months, were spent researching, reading, writing and traveling toward completing all of the Gold curriculum as outlined by the Gold Certification Manual.
  . (Bronze Certification was completed in 1997, prior to the implementation of the Gold Certification program)

• Reports that were prepared by myself were submitted to USA Bowling and to Dr. Lasser totaled more than 80,000 words and well over 100 pages.
